Ginger for nausea

Did you know that ginger is useful during nausea related to pregnancy and cancer treatment.

Ginger may also be tried when having nausea and headache in the morning due to a hangover after an overnight consumption of alcohol. This is due to its property that is similar to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (example, Ibuprofen).

So if you are feeling nauseous or vomiting, ginger is the best food available to relieve these symptoms.

And if you are not nauseous, ginger may still be one of the top foods to eat when sick due to its other beneficial effects.

Some of the beneficial effects of ginger are – it is an antioxidant, an antimicrobial and has anti-cancer properties.

Use fresh ginger in cooking or while making ginger tea.

Just make sure that you’re consuming real ginger or ginger extract, and not just ginger flavor.
