Guava is useful to managing heart disease

According to a study published in the journal Human Hypertension a dietary preference to guava is known to improve the sodium/potassium balance of the body, thereby regulating blood pressure in patients having hypertension.

Moreover, guavas are known to lower the levels of triglycerides and bad cholesterol, both of which contribute to development of heart disease. Guavas are also useful in improving the levels the good cholesterol (HDL) thus protecting the heart.
