How to lose weight as you eat rice

According to a research it is now possible to eat rice without fear of gaining weight.

Scientists from Sri Lanka revealed at the American Chemical Society meeting that adding a teaspoon of coconut oil while cooking the rice and then refrigerating it for 12 hours reduces the calories absorbed by the body by up to 60 %. Also, importantly, reheating does not alter the benefits.

This method of preparing the rice makes the rice starch more resistant to absorption thereby helping in reduced calorie intake.
