‘O’ blood type low risk for Alzheimer’s

The ‘O’ blood types have much lower chances of getting Alzheimer’s diseases in older age compared to A, B or AB blood types.

This is because ‘O’ blood types have more grey matter in their brains and that protects them against Alzheimer’s.

Researchers at the University of Sheffield found that blood types play a role in the development of nervous system and may cause a higher risk of developing cognitive decline.
