Something more than just diet and exercise to be healthy

There is more to just having a great diet and regular exercises to feel or actually be healthy.

Consider the following as they contribute immensely to being healthy:

  1. Have deep and meaningful connections (like marriage, close friendship and family)
  2. Find time to breathe. In fact, proper breathing is a de-stressor
  3. Be a part of a community or being spiritual
  4. Don’t sit too long. Some companies have started to encourage ‘stand and work’
  5. Do not ignore yourself and your creativity
  6. Contribute instead of always consuming
  7. Do the job that you love
  8. Do not be indoors all day long
  9. Never eat alone
  10. Feel positive and believe being worthy of love, health and happiness

Only if you have most if not all the ingredients mentioned above will it take you towards being more and more healthy. The less you have of these you might be pushed into an unhealthy state.
