Steps to radiant and healthy skin

Whatever you do, skin is something that will age with time. Steps that you take now will at least ensure that your skin is radiant and healthy.

1. Know your skin types and use products accordingly. This is hit and trial method. No one can predict what products will suit you to bring the best out of your skin so that it looks radiant and healthy. Example: a dry skin will require a cream-based moisturiser and face wash; a oily skin will need face wash that controls oil and prevents dullness.

2. Use skin creams having SPF, all year round even if not going out. Even a little exposure to sun can be damaging. Some people stop using SPF-based creams during winter; this is not right.

3. Follow the routine of skin care – cleansing, toning, moisturising, scrubbing and use of SPF-based creams.

4. Eat health, balanced and nutritious diet most of the time.

5. Take plenty of water.

6. Exercise regularly.

7. Sleep well.

8. Drink in moderation.

9. Do not smoke.

Even one missing link will show up first on your skin.
