8 ways to manage the difficult post-lunch hours at work

In the morning hours at work we wait for lunchtime. Although a great break, after lunch we tend to feel sleepy.

Here are 8 ways to keep awake after lunch;

  1. Dab some citrus, jasmine or peppermint oil on your hands and temples. Do not use lavender oil as it will make you sleepy
  2. Get into some loud thinking with your coworker
  3. Chewing gum is supposed to freshen you up
  4. Solve a puzzle
  5. Splash water on your face or rub ice cube around your wrist / temples
  6. Go out in the open for a short walk – you have been in for far too long
  7. Laugh…just chill
  8. Even while in office find time to move around and view a distant object
