Dendritic Cell (DC) therapy to treat cancer

Dendritic Cell (DC) therapy is an answer to tackle cancer at the immune levels. Usually doctors prescribe medicines for treating cancer. But cancer has two facets, 1. the disease and 2. a deficient immune system. The first is taken care of but not the second. And unless the issue of immune system is addressed it is not possible to manage cancer.

Dendritic cells are the master cells of immune system and they help to identify cancer cells and clear them.

In DC therapy the patient’s blood sample is processed for making competent dendritic cells and they are given back to the same patient. It helps patients cope with the disease without any side-effects.
