Exercise can reduce cancer risk

Moderate exercise or even a brisk walk done for about 30 minutes most days of the week (the more the better) can reduce the cancer risk as below:

1. Gastric cancer risk drops by about 50%

2. Colorectal (bowel) cancer risk by 44%

3. Breast cancer risk by 30 to 40 %

4. Ovary cancer risk by 30 to 40%

5. Uterus cancer risk by 40%

6. Lung cancer risk by 55%

7. Pancreas cancer risk by 11%

8. Prostate cancer risk by 20 to 30%

9. Overall cancer risk by 50 %

Exercise daily – walk, run, do whatever to be moderately physically active to reduce your cancer risk.
