Yoga to prevent osteoporosis

Many studies have shown that yoga helps prevent osteoporosis; a medical condition in which the bones become brittle due to loss of tissue as a result of hormonal changes, or due to deficiency of vitamin D or calcium.

Some of the yoga poses that can help you in the prevention of osteoporosis includes:

  • Tree pose
  • Triangle
  • Twisted triangle
  • Bridge
  • Corpse pose

All these poses done for 30 seconds are good to prevent osteoporosis.
