Women who exercise have less chances of stroke

Women who walk at least 3 hours a week have less chance of getting stroke (brain attack).

Stroke is a medical condition that paralyses the body, sometimes permanently. It can also be fatal.

The risk of Stroke decreased by 43 percent in women who walked 3 hours a week compared to those who led an inactive life.

‘Regularly engaging in moderate recreational activity is good for your health’, said Jose Maria Huerta of Murcia Regional Authority in Spain, who led the study.
