How-to look, feel and get fit in 10 days

You have a wedding or an important evening event to attend in the next 10 days. And you are not in shipshape but want to. Don’t fret. Just follow some discipline and other tips outlined below and you can look your stunning best.

10 days, 10 do’s and don’ts

  1. Avoid junk foods completely
  2. Reduce sugar content drastically if not stop it
  3. Include fruits, vegetable salads and nuts in your diet
  4. Have plenty of water (3 litres) and green tea instead of tea or coffee with milk
  5. Be active; exercise for about 45 minutes daily
  6. Be careful of the mid-meal snacks: avoid fried foods like samosas, pakodas, vada-paav completely; instead have nuts or multi-grain biscuits.
  7. Lunch and dinner should be light and comprise of vegetable soups without cream, salads without dressings, sprouts, roasted chicken, boiled eggs. A little bit of rice or dal and a chapatti (roti) is good. Have lunch around 1 pm and dinner by 8 pm
  8. Avoid deserts; instead have seasonal fruits
  9. If you drink alcohol, reduce it drastically if not stop it
  10. Get good, sound sleep lasting around 7 hours daily

The only challenge is if you are a smoker, as it is not easy to give up so quickly. Consider to stop smoking if you want a healthy skin.

Following the above tips will lead to a little loss of weight, a great feel-good factor resulting in confidence that you are ready and shipshape for the event. And if you follow this indefinitely, you are always ready to attend any event looking stunningly stunning.

Avoid reducing intake of foods drastically as you may reduce more weight but also lose the sheen and shine of your face. It is not recommended to lose too much weight in a short span of 10 days.
