How-to put on weight?

We often talk about losing weight. But what those who want to put on some weight. Is there a way to gain weight?

First, rule out a medical cause for not being able to gain weight.

Having done that try the following:

1. Eat well and frequently:

  • Eat frequently the foods you like
  • Eat foods rich in healthy fats and complex carbohydrates
  • Banana is loaded with calories, so are mangoes and grapes
  • Potatoes and sweet potatoes are good too

2. Exercise:

  • Do regular exercises; grade them slowly
  • Do Cardio as well as weights; preferably under supervision of a trainer

3. Sleep well:

  • Sleep in time; avoid late nights
  • Sleep for 7 hours

4. Be happy:

  • Happiness is an important ingredient in issues of weight
  • Happiness is within you

Following these few simple things will lead to weight gain. Once you achieve your target weight, you will have to redefine your need for food and exercises whereas efforts to sleep and being happy will be the same.
