Should you exercise if sick

Most of the time you yourself would not feel like to exercise while sick even if the desire to exercise is present.

Avoid exercise in public places like gym, if you have anything contagious like the flu for benefits of your fellow beings.

Avoid any exercise for your own good if you have diarrhea or back pain as it will prolong recovery.

Maintain healthy habits while sick: eat well, sleep, wash your hands, take plenty of water. In fact, you wouldn’t have got sick if you had followed the healthy habits.

So the short answer to the query is: do not exercise while sick. Recover first and then gradually grade to achieve your pre-sickness exercise levels.
